About
Hi, my name is Marcus Neto. I grew up in the Washington D.C. area. I have 3 boys, Miles, Preston, and Ethan, that are growing up too fast. I moved to the Eastern Shore in 2004, two weeks before Hurricane Ivan. Talk about a welcome! Moving here from Washington D.C. was a whirlwind decision and Ivan manifested that in a very real way.
I worked my way through college at James Madison University by working at Lowe's Home Centers. At the time, Lowe's was extremely focused on Customer Service. This shaped the way that I conduct business today.
After graduation, I started in the technology industry. Over the years I have held various roles like Performance Tester, Systems Analyst, Technical Sales Consultant, Communications Director, Director of Business Development and Product Evangelist. My experience runs the gamut from hundred million dollar systems to $500 dollar websites. The constant in my career is helping people understand technology and how it can empower them.
In 2007 I founded Blue Fish, a Digital Advertising Agency. We help small and medium-sized organizations overcome obscurity through marketing strategy, branding, website design and development, search engine optimization, social media management, video production, and more.
If you get to know me you'll find I like photography, design, being near the water, and ice cream. I really, really like ice cream.
