The Heist

Recently I was asked by a local Rap Duo to do some promo pictures for them. Here are some favorites from that shoot.

For those that are interested this was shot in my studio in Daphne. I used a black seamless paper backdrop. The red color on the background is a light that is about knee high that has a gel over it facing up at the paper. In most of these there were 3 other lights employed, two lights on either side aimed at their backs as a highlight. The last light was overhead on a boom with an octagon softbox on it.

Andrew and Beth

OK so I am going to admit that I was a bit bummed when I found out Beth and Andrew were getting married in Virginia as I knew their wedding was going to be killer and I wanted to shoot it. Yea.

OK so now that that is out there I get to be happy as they asked me to take some shots of them just for keepsakes! So we went to Downtown Mobile and did a walking tour of about 8 blocks. So many textures and fun things to use as backdrops.

Beth was a real trooper walking around in her killer heels. And I think Andrew was just enjoying the fact that I was asking them to kiss so much. What a blast!
